HYDERABAD: More than a year after the September 11
Mecca crane tragedy
in Saudi Arabia claimed more than 100 lives, a Hyderabadi man who lost his spleen during Haj pilgrimage seeks justice.
Shaik Mujeeb, 39, resident of Talabkatta made several rounds to the
State Haj Committee
office. Even the central and state
Haj Committee
had assured him compensation, but he is yet to receive it.
“After the incident neither I could perform Haj nor was I called for performing Haj this year. As the Saudi government had promised to call all survival Haj Pilgrims, during this year. I demand either government to compensate me or provide financial assistance,''
Shaik Mujeeeb
urged.
