HYDERABAD: On the occasion of the birth anniversaries of the Hindi film industry luminaries, Guru Dutt and Bimal Roy, falling in July, the Moving Images Film Club will organise a film festival in the city on July 29 and 30.
As a tribute to the luminaries of the black and white era of the Hindi films, their movies will be screened at the Prasads Preview Theatre, beside L V Prasad Eye Institute on Road No.

Do Bhiga Zamin, produced and directed by Bimal Roy will be screened on July 29 at 6 pm and Pyaasa, produced and directed by Guru Dutt will be screened on July 30 at 6 pm.
The year 2006 also marks the 40th death anniversary of Bimal Roy for which Do Bhiga Zamin was screened at The Times Of India festival as part of the series on 'Kolkata, the city'.
