Hyderabad: A day before his wedding, groom Sandeep Ramesh, 40, was reported missing by his brother. The latter received a message from Sandeep that he was not interested in the marriage. His wedding was scheduled for Friday, and the bride's family alleged that they made all arrangements.
On Thursday, Sandeep sent a message to his brother Srikanth saying he was not interested in the marriage. Srikanth rushed to Sandeep's room, searched for him, and immediately lodged a police complaint. Madhapur police registered a missing case and started an investigation.
According to police, Sandeep, belonging to Alwal, works for a private firm in Hi-Tec City. He lives in a rented room at Khanamet under Madhapur police station limits. His wedding was fixed with his colleague, a resident of Maredpally for Friday.
Cops were trying to understand the reason behind alleged change of heart. A search is on to trace him using technical leads, said D Krishna Mohan, station house officer, Madhapur.
