Govt shakes up police set-up, new posts for 44

Hyderabad: The state government on Wednesday transferred 23 IPS officers and 21 non-cadre SPs. VV Srinivasa Rao, chairman, Telangana State Level police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB), has been posted as Additional DG Technical Services. He has also been given full additional charge of the post of chairman, TSLPRB.Gajarao Bhupal has been posted as DIG Co-Ordination, while Ramagundam commissioner of police Rema Rajeswari has been posted as DIG, Women Safety Wing, while DIG LS Chouhan was named the new CP of Ramagundam. Hyderabad Special Branch DCP D Joel Davis has been posted as DIG Jogulamba replacing LS Chowhan. Khammam CP Vishnu S Warrier, who is going on central deputation to NIA, has been directed to report at the DGP's office and East Zone DCP of Hyderabad Sunil Dutt, who had earlier worked as SP of Maoist-hit Bhadradri Kothagudem district, would be replacing Warrier as CP of Khammam.Women Safety Wing SP PV Padmaja has been posted as DCP Malkajgiri, replacing Janaki Dharavath, who has been posted as DCP South East Zone. B Rohit Raju has been posted as SP, Bhadradri Kothagudem, replacing G Vineeth, who has been posted as DCP of Madhapur. TSPA deputy director G Janaki Sharmila is the new SP of Nirmal and the incumbent officer, Ch Praveen Kumar has been posted as DCP LB Nagar. B Sai Sree, DCP LB Nagar, would be the DCP of East Zone in Hyderabad. S Rajendra Prasad, who is waiting for a posting, has been posted as SP in CID. Adilabad SP D Uday Kumar Reddy has been posted as SP, TS Transco. Mulugu SP Gaush Alam has replaced him. Medchal DCP P Shabarish is the new SP of Mulugu, while Nitika Pant replaced him as DCP Medchal. Rachakonda Cyber Crimes DCP B Anuradha is the new CP of Siddipet and South West Zone DCP B Bala Swamy SP of Medak. R Venkateshwarulu, who is waiting for a posting, has been made DCP Traffic-III, Hyderabad, and Ch Srinivas has been named the new DCP of Rajendranagar. Mulugu OSD Ashok Kumar has been transferred to Jayashankar Bhupalapally district as OSD. Among non cadre SPs, KCS Raghuvir will join TS Anti Narcotic Bureau, ACB deputy director K Prasanna Rani has been transferred to Intelligence. Anti Narcotics Bureau SP Sunitha Reddy has been posted as Maheshwaram DCP. D Srinivas would be DCP, SOT-Medchal, M Ramana Kumar, AIG (L&O) in DGP's office. K Narsimha, DCP (crimes) Cyberabad.
