HYDERABAD: The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) will organise a two-day International Youth Conference on Terrorism in New Delhi from February 10.
Announcing this at a press conference, BJYM national president G Kishan Reddy on Thursday said the conference would provide a common platform for youngsters around the world to share their experiences and ideas.

It would identify the crux of the problem of terrorism and suggest solutions at the local as well as global scale, he said.
Pointing out that the tremendous potential of young people was being wasted in acts of vandalism, he said that the conference would find out means to engage them in constructive activities which would wean them away from terrorism and other such anti-social acts.
Krishna Reddy said that the agenda of the conference was to provide scope for meaningful discussions on issue related to terrorism that would culminate in the ‘New Delhi Declaration of Youth Against Terrorism’.
During the conference, international experts on terrorism would make research presentation and address the participants, Reddy said.
Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee would inaugurate the conference and Deputy Prime Minister Lal Krishna Advani would attend the concluding ceremony, he said.
The BJYM leader said that UN secretary-general Kofi Annan was unable to attend the conference but would be sending the United Nations observer, Feodo Starcevic. Editors of major dailies and representatives from all political parties would also participate in the conference. Diplomats and ministers from all major countries would be invited to the conference, he said.
BJP minority morcha leader P Arul Raj was also present.
