Geyanand wins graduates MLC seat

ANANTAPUR: Jana Vignana Vedika leader M Geyanand won as MLC from graduates constituency of Anantapur by defeating his nearest rival S Sridhar Reddy here on Wednesday.
Geyanand, who was supported by CPM, got a majority of 1,020 votes in the second priority votes against Sridhar Reddy. Speaking to scribes later, Geyanand said he would raise the peoples' problems and burning issues in the legislative council.
