. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) which has been constituted to probe how the gangster obtained a fake passport will interrogate him.

After the arrest of Ayub Khan in December 2016, the

South Zone

police have sought ten days police custody. The court has directed police to take Ayub Khan in custody for eight days - one day custody for Chandrayangutta police in connection with a threatening case and seven days for Kamatipura police in fake passport case.

The 11-member SIT headed by Charminar assistant commissioner of police K Ashok Chakravarthy will supervise the investigation. This team will report to the deputy commissioner of police (South Zone) V Satyanarayana.
