HYDERABAD: Police have cracked the VW Vento car theft case of last week by arresting two members of a Bidar gang and two receivers on Thursday.

car. On November 25, Vishal Raj approached Vento owner Srikanth on the pretext of purchasing it, and stole the four-wheeler by diverting his attention. Earlier, Srikanth had posted an advertisement on Olx about the sale of his 2014 model Vento.

“We alerted the Bengaluru police who nabbed Vishal.Two more stolen cars were recovered from him. The cars recovered from Bengaluru were stolen in Delhi in a similar manner. All the accused hail from Bidar. After stealing cars, Vishal and Giriraj used to sell them to Mahesh and Shiva Kumar at throwaway prices,'' KPHB inspector
