Gali back in TDP fold
HYDERABAD: Congress MLA G Muddukrishnama Naidu on Monday resigned from the membership of the state assembly as well as the primary membership of Congress party.
Naidu is set to join the TDP on December 12 and is likely to be fielded from Nagari constituency in Chittoor district. If the party decides on this, then the party women's wing president Roja will have to be either sent to another safe constituency or to the legislative council.
Muddukrishnama Naidu met assembly speaker K R Suresh Reddy on Monday and submitted his resignation letter.

Later, he met PCC president D Srinivas and resigned from the primary membership of the party.
Talking to the media, Naidu said that he felt betrayed by chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy. "I worked for him and after using me, he has dumped me. The treatment that has been meted to me was most humiliating. Even developmental works in my constituency were not sanctioned by the chief minister. I was fed up with the domination of caste, group and money politics which have become too rampant in the party in the past four years," he said.
