Four Naxalites surrender

KHAMMAM/KURNOOL: Two dalam members of the People''s War surrendered before superintendent of police V V Srinivasa Rao on Friday.
The SP held a press conference and gave details about the surrenders. The two members-- Paparao and Chandraiah of Badinepalli in Vajedu mandal-- joined Maddedu dalam of the People''s War in Chattisgarh region a few months back.
The SP said that they were not entitled to any reward and no cases were pending against them. Bhadrachalam DSP Sampathkumar Reddy and Venkatapuram CI Ravinder Reddy were present at the press conference.
Meanwhile, a report from Kurnool adds two members of the People'' War Mahanandi dalam and eight sympathisers surrendered before district superintendent of police N Sanjay at Nandyal on Friday. Ella Kittu alias Vijay and M Venkateswarlu, both from Paramaturu village of Bandiatmakuru mandal, worked in the dalam for three months.
