Four injured in blast while deflating helium balloon in Telangana

HYDERABAD: Four workers sustained 20 per cent burn injuries after a giant helium balloon erected for a private birthday party a month ago blasted at an open place.

The place belonging to VRR Ventures under Keesara police station limits on Tuesday evening.

According to Keesara police, the helium balloon dropped down after some of the gas inside it reduced and the balloon was partially deflated. The workers were trying to deflate the balloon completely when a spark ignited the gas causing the blast.

The injured workers were rushed to a local government hospital for treatment.
