) sleuths arrested the forest officer of Shamshabad and a section officer for accepting 80,000 bribe from a complainant on Wednesday.
According to ACB Hyderabad range

, a complaint was received from businessman M Venkatesh of Uppal against Shamshabad range forest officer

K Shyam Kumar

and the section officer

Peerya Nayak

for demanding bribe.
Based on the complaint, the ACB team laid a trap at the forest office in Gaganpahad on Wednesday afternoon. As soon as Peerya Nayak accepted 80,000 bribe from the complainant, ACB team swooped in on him and arrested him. ACB also arrested K Shyam Kumar, on whose direction Peerya Nayak took the bribe.
"Venkatesh approached the forest official to start a timber depot in Shamshabad,"
