Fisherman drowns

VIZIANAGARAM: One fisherman drowned and four others were injured in separate incidents in Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts on Tuesday. Mylapalli Tata Rao (38) of Sivajidibba in Etcherla mandal of Srikakulam drowned in the sea when a big wave hit his fishing vessel. His three colleagues managed to swim to safety, fisheries department sources said.
In another incident at Chepalakanteru in Bhogapuram mandal of Vizianagaram, four fishermen were injured when a big wave hit their fishing vessel and turning it upside down in the mid-sea.The four fishermen swam ashore safely.
