Firing incident fallout: AIMIM dissolves Adilabad unit

Hyderabad: A day after AIMIM leader Mohammed Farooq Ahmed fired at two persons and inflicted a knife injury on another person in Adilabad, the party Adilabad unit was dissolved on Saturday.
“On the instructions of AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, the Adilabad AIMIM unit has been dissolved with immediate effect. A new unit will be constituted soon,” Ahmed Pasha Quadri, general secretary of AIMIM and Yakutpura MLA, said.Farooq is AIMIM’s Adilabad district president.
Police took Farooq into custody after he shot at two persons with his firearm. tnn
