NEW DELHI: A fire erupted on the third floor of Golden Fortune Green Homes in Rangareddy district early Saturday morning. The blaze was quickly brought under control by fire services.
According to Kareem, District fire officer of Rangareddy, the fire broke out at 6am due to a fridge explosion. Three fire tenders were dispatched to the scene and successfully extinguished the flames.
“The fire caused property damage, but fortunately, there were no casualties. The four residents of the apartment had evacuated promptly,” said the DFO.
In a separate incident earlier, a fire broke out in two scrap godowns near Aramghar X Roads, also in Rangareddy. Four fire tenders were deployed, and the fire was contained without any casualties.
