CHARMINAR: Fire broke out at a
furniture store
in Mogalpura on Friday evening.
No causalities
were reported. Fire extinguisher vehicles were sent from Moghalpura fire station, Malakpet fire station, Salar Jung fire station, Gowliguda fire station and
Chandulal Baradari
fire station.
Water tankers were also sent to the spot. "We are trying to investigate the reason for fire. The property damaged is yet to be assessed", said an official from
Telangana State Disaster Response
and Fire Services Department, "the fire lasted for almost three hours", he added.
In another incident, a fire broke out in a flat at
Ghansi Bazaar
due to gas leakage. No casualties were reported. Nobody was injured in the mishap. The residents extinguished the fire by themselves even before the fire department reached the place.
