Samantha Ruth Prabhu mobbed by fans at Hyderabad mall: Videos show chaotic scenes; 2nd incident in a week after Nidhhi Agerwal ordeal
HYDERABAD: Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu was briefly mobbed by fans during a public appearance in Hyderabad on Sunday, with visuals from the event showing crowd congestion and difficulties in managing her movement.
The incident occurred during the opening of a commercial outlet in the Jubilee Hills area, where Samantha was invited as the chief guest.
Videos shared on social media show a large number of fans and photographers surrounding the actor as she attempted to exit the venue. Security personnel were seen escorting her through the crowd towards her vehicle.
No injuries were reported. Samantha did not make any public comment on the incident.
The Hyderabad episode comes close on the heels of a similar crowding incident involving actor Nidhhi Agerwal at a separate event in the city earlier this week, which had prompted police scrutiny of crowd management arrangements at promotional programmes.
Samantha, who has a significant fan following in the Telugu states, has been attending public events in Hyderabad as part of professional and promotional commitments.
Organisers of Sunday’s event have not issued a formal statement on the crowd situation so far.

Unsolicited enthusiasms about celebrities is common. Celebrities also should avoid risky functions like petty shop opening. It will be next to impossible to provide security cover in such crowded places. Having said that who are these unemployed perverts who has all the time on the earth to come to such s petty function ? Either they are organized gangs or motivated trouble makers. Security agencies must investigate who are these rogues. They are not fans by any yard stick. Hyderabad has huge collection of idle human inventory who assemble at every silly incident like auto accident to street violence. These incidents must be probed.Read allPost comment
