Ex-serviceman mowed down near Nagole
Hyderabad: A 62-year-old ex-serviceman died after being rammed by an autorickshaw near Nagole Metro Station on Friday evening. The deceased was identified as Chalapathi Rao (62), a resident of Hasthinapuram in the city. According to Nagole police, Chalapathi Rao was going home from KIMS Hospital in Secunderabad after his health check up at 4 pm, when the incident occured. Police officials said that Rao got down at Nagole Metro station and was crossing the road towards LB Nagar when an auto rickshaw proceeding towards Uppal rammed him resulting in severe bleeding injuries. Chalapathi Rao was rushed to Kamineni Hospital where the doctor pronounced him as a brought dead.
