Ex-corporator's husband held for duping people

HYDERABAD: Posing as a policeman with clout, a man duped several persons by promising them vehicles at cheap rates.
Task Force sleuths said that Syed Abid Ali used to introduce himself as Feroz Khan, a police sub-inspector in Chandrayangutta or an SI of Crime Branch or an inspector with the Task Force. "Abid Ali had promised several persons that he would help them get vehicles at cheaper price during auction of old vehicles by the police department," police said.
Abid Aliis the husband of Sada Kaudar, a former corporator from Medak district. The family moved to Dabeerpura several months ago.
