Ravi Kiran is the second son of Tukaramgate police station inspector and Andhra Pradesh Police Officers’ Association office-bearer J Satyanarayana. Satyanarayana has reportedly gone on leave after a case was registered against his son.
“We are trying to nab the accused who is still at large and the department will also initiate action against Satyanarayana if he is found to be involved in the case, Khan told reporters.
Ravi Kiran established Lancet Airways Limited in 2001 at Jeedimetla and shifted the office to Prashannagar a couple of months ago. He issued advertisements seeking applications for the post of junior and senior commercial pilots.
However, Ravi Kiran stopped coming to the office for the past few days after allegedly collecting 6.5 lakh from each of the six applicants promising them to send to Canada for training. The aspirants lodged a complaint with the police.
