Hyderabad drug case: Dutch drug peddler in cop custody

HYDERABAD: Excise sleuths on Friday took Dutch drug peddler Mike Kamminga into their custody for interrogation . In another development, the custodial interrogation of P Sangeeta, a cocaine peddler arrested by LB Nagar police ended and she reportedly made some startling revelations about the trade.
Dutch software professional Mike Kamminga was arrested by excise sleuths from his Nanakramguda flat on July 25 for possessing 2.6 gms of DMT (Dimethyltryptamine), a psychedelic substance.
Mike is a solutions architect with Innominds, which is based in the San Francisco Bay Area. The company has an office in the city. Mike has been living with his Indian wife and a child at Nanakramguda flat for sometime.
Based on the leads provided by drug abusers from the IT industry excise sleuths raided his flat and arrested him.
After the arrest, Mike was sent in judicial remand. Following a petition, the court granted excise officials three-day custody of Mike. "Serilingampally excise sleuths took Mike into custody for questioning on Friday and he will be produced before the magistrate after the interrogation on Sunday. We will grill about Mike's contacts in drug supply chain," a official said.
In another development, the custodial interrogation of P Sangeeta, a cocaine peddler arrested by LB Nagar police ended on Friday. She confessed to the police that in addition to peddling drugs, she was involved in human trafficking.
