Drunk auto driver ferrying 13 kids held
HYDERABAD: An auto driver, who was dropping 13 students home, was caught by the
The students of St Joseph Public School, King Koti, were heading home in the auto of Mohammed Osman in the evening. Police stopped the three-wheeler crammed with students near Malakpet water tank. They found auto driver Osman was in an inebriated state and posed great danger to the lives of the students. Immediately, Oman was taken into custody and his vehicle was seized.
Malakpet inspector (Traffic) Venkat Reddy said Osman was not stable when he took the breathalyser test. Meanwhile at LB Nagar, a schoolteacher, who was caught driving under the influence of alcohol, made a home guard sit in his car on the pretext of parking the vehicle to a side and took him on a ride while other policemen looked on dumbfounded on Friday night.
The LB Nagar traffic police said that teacher
"Raju instead of stopping the car, drove it away from the location even as Suresh was screaming for help. Some youths and policemen chased Raju's car and intercepted him at Moosarambagh. He was then forced to give the breathalyser test. He was immediately arrested," LB sub-inspector Yerlappa.
