HYDERABAD:
Actress Charmi
lodged a complaint with the Special Investigation Team (SIT) alleging that a constable had touched her while she was entering the SIT office to attend interrogation by the excise officials in connection with the
drug racket scam
.
As soon as she got down from her car in front of the Abkari office, a group of excise constables surrounded her and escorted her inside the office.
Though Charmi was escorted by women police, some male constables created a scene.
When she was crossing the main gate, she looked back with an uncomfortable expression on her face. The actress further complained that other police officials also tried to push and drag her.
After identifying the person as constable Srinivas, Charmi asked the Excise Director Akun Sabharwal to take action against him immediately.
