Dimple fears for her life, says lawyer

Hyderabad: Actress Dimple Hayathi, who was booked for allegedly damaging the official car of DCP (Traffic) Rahul Hegde, is reportedly not stepping out of her flat as she fears for her life, according to her lawyer.
“She is under stress and fears to step out. She is getting too many phone calls. A stranger came to her flat and she called ‘Dial-100’. He claimed that he was her fan,” the actor’s lawyer Satyanarayana said at a press conference on Thursday.He alleged that cops were biased toward the DCP in their investigation.
“Why is the DCP speaking (to the media) if it is his driver who is the complainant?” he questioned.
“David and Dimple have been accused of removing cover of DCP’s car. Did anyone see cover being used for police vehicle when it is parked. Why is CCTV footage of my clients removing it not being shown? We will go through legal process and once case is settled, we will take legal action against DCP’‘ he said. tnn
