Devotees celebrate Prakash Purab with religious fervour in Telangana

HYDERABAD: Recitations of Gurbani Shabad keertans, Guru-ka-Langar and delivery of Gurbani Vichar marked the 356th Prakash Purab celebrations of Guru Gobind Singh on Sunday. The day was celebrated with gusto by members of Sikh community from across Telangana.

Prakash Parab of Guru Gobind Singh is the birthday celebrations of the tenth and last Sikh Guru and founder of Khalsa Panth, who spread the message of peace and communal harmony.

The celebrations was organised under aegis of Prabandhak Committee of Gurudwara Sahib in Secunderabad where over 15,000 Sikh devotees participated in the mass congregation by offering prayers.

Bhai Kamaljeet Singh (Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple, Amritsar), Bhai Jagjeet Singh Babiha of Delhi, Bhai Jagdev Singh and other reputed Ragi Jathas recited Shabad Keertans.
