Hyderabad: An international conference on ‘Advanced materials and processes for
The conference is aimed at creating a synergetic collaboration between R&D, industries and academia to identify and develop a family of affordable, competitive, reliable and high-performance materials systems and process technologies which are relevant defence applications, the organisers said.
They said materials technologies were most important in strategic systems and serve as a backbone for any futuristic development. In view of these the idea of initiating a conference series Admat was conceived to promote scientific interactions among research laboratories, industries and academia to accelerate and advance the development of materials for strategic need. dtmat is being organised in association with association with ASM India national council headed by A K Tiwary and Indian Institute of Metals, Hyderabad Chapter.
Speakers, invitees and delegates from 10 countries participated in the conference in which there are 15 plenary lectures, more than 30 theme-specific keynote talks, 70 invited lectures and around 270 contributory presentations.
