The dargah has four graves of Hazrat Hussaini Shah Ali, Yousuf Ali, Shah Mohammad Ali Shah, Mazar-e-Munawari Begum bearing the number 13-2-965 in 312 square yards of Waqf land.

The supervisor, Khaza Bee, who was appointed by the Waqf Board to safeguard the property from encroachers in 2010 says she and her family who live at the dargah are being harassed by landgrabbers asking them to vacate the place.

“We are being threatened and harassed by a group of people who want us to vacate this place so they can encroach this property. They have also threatened to demolish the property saying it is old and might collapse,” Khaza Bee said. “These threats are despite the municipal officials clarifying the property is safe to live in,” she said. The dargah is a registered Waqf property in file number 3/B1/Ind/99 under Towliath of AP State Waqf Board.

“She (Khaza Bee) should take prompt action in protecting the Waqf and its properties and should inform the board and area police at once if there is any attempt of encroachment,” reads the memo to Khaza Bee when she was appointed. Despite Khaza Bee making several complaints, no action has been taken. “We have approached Waqf Board and area police to complain, but in vain,” Sheik Saber, Khaza Bee’s son said.
