CS, DGP review facilities for jatara

(Mulugu): Chief secretary Somesh Kumar and Director General of Police (DGP) M Mahender Reddy inspected arrangements for the upcoming Sammakka Saralamma Jatara here on Sunday. The chief secretary directed officials to focus on traffic management.

Officials were also told to ensure that all roads leading to Medaram are in good shape. “Arterial junctions leading to the jatara must be geo-tagged,” he said. The CS also directed officials to wind up all civic works in two days and stressed the need for installing floodlights and signboards at all parking spaces.
