Cracker creates bomb scare

HYDERABAD:An unexploded fire cracker created a bomb scare among locals at Khilwat onThursday.At around 9.30 am on Thursday, workers of KhilwatAshurkhana noticed a dark grey-coloured thumb-shaped material lying near thepremises, according to the Hussainialam police."Fearing it could bean explosive, they alerted the local police," Charminar ACP, K Babu Rao said.Police called in the bomb disposal (BD) squad and rushed to thespot.After examining the material, the BD squad personnel declaredthe material as unexploded part of a rocket (fire cracker that explodes in airwith dazzling colours).
