CPI-Maoist couple surrenders

Hanumakonda: Two CPI (Maoist) members surrendered before the Warangal Commissioner of Police (CP) AV Ranganath on Thursday. The duo was identified as Kasaraneni Ravi Kumar alias Ajith alias Munna alias Surya and his wife Madivi Somidi alias Kalpana. Speaking to the media, CP Ranganath stated that Kasaraneni Ravi Kumar joined CPI (Maoist) in 2016 and was involved in a spate of incidents while his wife was also involved in an attack on security forces. —Shiva Kumar Pinna
