Hyderabad court recalls non-bailable warrant issued against Asaduddin Owaisi

Hyderabad: AIMIM supremo Asaduddin Owaisi appeared before the

special sessions

judge at Nampally Metropolitan criminal

court

on Monday and got his non-bailable warrant (

NBW

) against him recalled in connection with the attack case on Congress leader Mohammed Shabbir Ali.

Last week the court issued an NBW against the MP after he failed to appear before the court.

The trial is scheduled to commence from February 3. In October 2020, the Mirchowk police filed a supplementary charge sheet with a list of new witnesses and sought permission from the special sessions judge to delete the name of AIMIM MP from the list of accused. The judge Ch VRR Varaprasad had declined the request.
