Court allows Satyam accused food during lunch hours

HYDERABAD: The trial court trying Satyam scam case on Tuesday allowed the jail authorities to provide to the prime accused B Ramalinga Raju and other accused in the case the food they need during lunch hours, which they spend in the trial court. "But this should be done through the escort personnel belonging to the jail manning the team. The expenses for this should be borne by the accused themselves.Each undertrial will have his money deposited with the jail authorities which is called canteen expenses deposit," the court said. The magistrate also allowed the accused to interact with their lawyers for some time at the end of the proceedings each day.
