HYDERABAD: To become a cop, get help from a cop. This is being facilitated by the police themselves who have taken up the initiative to provide coaching to job aspirants in the state.
As the notification for constable and sub-inspector jobs is expected to be issued soon, police in some of the districts have come forward to train the job aspirants to compete for the jobs. However, they will have to qualify to be considered for the coaching as

police have announced.
A screening test will be conducted for men and women candidates on March 20 from 9 am to 12 noon for those who have registered for it.

said that a total of 6,862 candidates, including 5,200 male and 1,662 female job aspirants, have registered for the written test. The initiative to provide the training was taken at the instance of health and finance minister

who represents Siddipet in the assembly. Several examination centres have been notified for the job aspirants to appear for the written test. The job aspirants interested in taking the coaching classes were given time from March 14-18 to register for the written test.
“Those who qualify in the written test will be given free coaching for the constable and SI posts,” police commissioner Swetha said.

Rahul Hegde also announced free coaching for job aspirants for not only police posts but also other group examinations.
Those interested were asked to register their names with their local police station by March 17.
