Congressmen heckled by MIM workers in Afzal Sagar

HYDERABAD: Mild tension prevailed in Afzal Sagar on Thursday after

Congress leader Feroz Khan

and his followers were allegedly heckled by

AIMIM party workers

Following complaints that the Rs 10,000 instant relief promised by the government was not received by some locals, Feroz Khan and a group of

Congress workers

visited that area. While they were interacting with the residents, a group of men from AIMIM obstructed them and told them to leave the area. However, as Congressmen refused to leave, the MIM workers allegedly heckled them.

“Though we want to help the rain-affected families, we are being targeted everywhere in the city. MIM workers are stopping us from doing the good work,” Feroz Khan said.
