GUNTUR: The Congress district leadership has decided to take up the implication Congress leaders'' names murder cases with superintendent of police P S R Anjaneyulu. Senior leaders who met here on Tuesday, discussed the development arising of the confessional statement made by a hired assassin Ragiri Ravi.
Ravi, it may be recalled, alleged that he committed murders at the behest of Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) secretary L Appi Reddy Gurazala MLA Janga Krishna Murthy.

The district police are on the lookout Appi Reddy. District Congress Committee (DCC) president Rayapati Srinivas told The Times India that senior leaders were of the opinon that police reaction amounted to harassing the opposition leaders.
He said that the party would not protect the guilty, but at the same time it would not allow the police to harass innocent leaders. He said that the leaders had decided to meet the SP and request him to hold an impartial inquiry into all the cases.
