Police forces from Vikarabad and Kodangal in large number supported by Hyderabad Task Force sleuths also arrested 50 followers of Revanth. He was arrested as preventive measure after he threatened to obstruct K Chandrashekara Rao's public meeting in Kosgi on Tuesday afternoon.
Telangana Addition Director General of Police (Law and Order) Jitender told TOI ,"Revanth's arrest decision was taken in view of maintaining law and order. He was shifted to a safe place. We are not disclosing the location as his followers may create trouble. He will be released after CM's meeting. Revanth had given a call to obstruct CM's meeting. This is a preventive arrest."

Revanth's wife A Geeta accused the cops of treating her husband and said he was dragged out of home.
Geeta alleged, "Revanth Reddy sat on a dharna two days ago as police forcibly entered into the houses of minorities and ill treated burka clad women too. He said more raids will be conducted. Police at around 3.00am today broke opened our bed room doors when Revanth, me and my daughter were in the room. They didn't show their identity cards. We could identify whether they are local police or task force or intelligence sleuths. They only told us that they came here on the orders of top ranking officials. This is all a conspiracy to deploy policing and prevent Congressmen to vote. Is this a democracy? CM
KCR bore a grudge against my husband. CM stopped development of Kodangal. He stopped water supply project, goverment college and cement factory to Kodangal. Revanth Reddy asked CM to answer to this as he is coming here. Can't we question CM?,"
She asked followers of Revanth Reddy and Congressmen not to resort to any violence and maintain restrain.
