Hyderabad: Gearing up for the LS polls, Telangana Congress is likely to focus more on roadshows in urban pockets and public meetings in the hinterland. Sources said the party may go for road shows in constituencies like Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Chevella and Malkajgiri.

A road map for outreach would be prepared soon, sources said. Several turncoat MP contestants were facing problems in constituencies as local cadre have still not come to terms with changed realities, sources said. The party unit also has decided to release Telangana-specific promises as separate document locally. Soon, the document with promises like the SC bench in Telangana would be distributed along with the party manifesto.

Meanwhile, sources said the CM was in Delhi for an interview and a party meeting. A few other leaders would be in Delhi on Friday as there is a possibility of announcing three pending LS tickets after AICC CEC meeting. tnn
