MEDARAM (WARANGAL): Expressing displeasure over the delay in completion of works,
Telangana tourism minister V Srinivas Goud and PR minister E Dayakar Rao told officials that all works should be completed by January-end and stated that officials would be suspended if they are found to be negligent in their duties.
Goud also inaugurated a resort in Mulugu district on Friday.
Later, he visited the Sammakka Saralamma platform along with Dayakar Rao and offered prayers.
The ministers inspected facilities being provided to the devotees. They also urged the devotees to use cloth and jute bags instead of plastic bags during the jatara.
Mulugu ASP Chaitanya Kumar said that one-way traffic rule has been implemented from Pasra to Tadwai highway due to repair on NH 163.
So, he asked devotees to be cautious while heading to the Jatara venue. tnn
