CM heads to Delhi for CWC meet today
Hyderabad: Chief minister A Revanth Reddy is set to visit New Delhi on Friday to attend the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting, the party's highest decision-making body.The CWC is likely to deliberate on key issues, including the political situation in Telangana, implementation of govt welfare schemes, and measures to strengthen the party. Telangana Congress president Mahesh Kumar Goud along with senior ministers Damodar Raja Narasimha and Uttam Kumar Reddy will accompany the chief minister.With the state govt completing 28 months in office, Revanth is expected to brief the All India Congress Committee (AICC) leadership on the rollout of guarantees and the progress of major development initiatives. There is also speculation that he may hold preliminary discussions on a possible cabinet expansion and the filling of nominated posts. In the evening, the chief minister is likely to meet senior AICC leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi separately.
