cld.TDP slams Jagan for politicising Vivekananda’s death
Vijayawada: TDP leader Ch Adinarayana Reddy on Friday accused YSRC president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy of trying to politicise the death of his uncle Y S Vivekananda Reddy.
Adinarayana Reddy is TDP’s candidate for Kadapa Lok Sabha constituency.
Adinarayana Reddy took strong objection to YSRC MLA Rabindranath Reddy's allegations holding chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, IT minister Nara Lokesh, TDP Pulivendula candidate Satish Reddy and himself (Adinarayana) responsible for the death of Vivekananda Reddy.
He said it has become a habit for Jagan and YSRC leaders to make allegations against TDP and create confusion among people. The same happened in Visakhapatnam airport knife attack case in which the NIA couldn't find any evidence of allegations levelled by YSRC.
He said there were differences between Vivekananda Reddy and Y S Avinash Reddy over contesting the Lok Sabha election. For a long time, Vivekananda faced difficulties with Jagan, who was always trying to hurt his contesting chances.
Stating that initial reports suggested death due to heart attack, Adinarayana said YSRC leaders changed have begun blaming the chief minister for Vivekananda’s death to gain sympathy.
He called for an investigation by an SIT to find out the truth in Vivekananda Reddy’s death. He said he will write letters to AP DGP, Kurnool DIG and Kadapa SP for a fair probe.
