Though LPG cylinders are being used by some vehicle owners to fuel their cars, this was illegal, Venugopal Rao said, explaining that according to the rules, a cylinder has to be fixed to the vehicle and should be part of the fuel system. The LPG dispensing station is scheduled to be inaugurated by home minister T Devender Goud on August 12.
An IOC official said on the anvil are three more such stations — at Moula Ali, Medchal and at Timmapur in Mahabubnagar district.
