Chota Shakeel's gang members arrested in Hyderabad
A key aide of underworld gangster Chota Shakeel and two of his associates, suspected to be involved in many extortion cases in the city, were arrested.
Acting on a tip off, sleuths of Commissioner's Task Force, North Zone Team apprehended Sayyed Abbas Sayeed Razzak Al-Tugoolani alias Ali Sayyed, Mohd Omer Ahmed Khan and Shaikh Ahmed in Secunderabad on Friday, Commissioner's Task Force DCP V B Kamalasan Reddy said.
Ali Sayyed on the behest of Chota Shakeel took shelter at Hafeez Baba Nagar here and would threaten and target businessmen, Reddy said.
"Chota Shakeel selected the targets and directed Ali Sayyed over phone. After the information was passed from Ali Sayyed, Shakeel in turn threatened the targets to kidnap and kill them, if they did not give money," the police official explained.
