Chakravarthi, 3 others made Sai trust members

HYDERABAD: In a sudden development on Saturday, the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust inducted K Chakravarthi, S Nagananda, J D Shetty and Dr Bhagavantham as members of the trust. They were till now members of the council of management and Chakravarthi was the secretary of the trust.
With this, the total number of trustees has increased to nine. The move is said to be intended to pacify the warring groups in the trust which is under the scanner of the state government.The government is currently perusing a 1800-page report on the trust's various activities. According to sources, trust chairman and former chief justice P N Bhagawati is likely to step down from his post citing health reasons.
