, giving a insight into the probable cause of the beautician's death.

In a fit of rage, Rajiv reportedly assaulted Sirisha in front of SI Prabhakar Reddy and their common friend Sravan Kumar at Kuknurpally. In the wee hours of June 13, when Rajiv, Sririsha, Sravan and the SI were consuming liquor at the latter's quarters in Kuknurpally, the SI tried his best to convince Rajiv and Sravan to visit a brothel nearby.

Srisha overheard the conversation and sent multiple messages to Rajiv on whatsapp saying, “I can feel that something is wrong please don't leave me. Please do not leave me and go.“ Rajiv did not go to brothel, but when he and Sravan left the room for a second time to smoke, the SI almost closed the door and started molesting Sirisha.

“When Rajiv and Sravan entered the room, the SI was close to Sirisha.She was in a frightened state crying and pleading with the SI, saying that she was not that type of a woman,“ police said in the remand report. The SI again asked Rajiv and Sravan to go to brothel. “By now Sirisha started weeping aloud saying that all of them forgot the purpose of the visit and were trying to do some nonsense (sic),“ police said.

Rajiv and Sravan then thought of taking Sirisha back to the city but the agitated woman started crying aloud. Rajiv then abused her and beat her, police said.

The duo forced Sirisha into a ve hicle and started driving to Hydera bad. “En route, Sirisha, continue crying and even tried to get dow from the moving vehicle. Rajiv the dragged her back into the vehicle holding her by her hair and calle her a prostitute in Telugu,“ police sa id. “Crying, Sirisha told Rajiv in th car that his girlfriend Tejaswini trea ted her as prostitute and even he cal led her a prostitute and beat her up She said that the SI Prabhakar Redd whom they approached for help, ha also been treating her like a `charac terless person',“ police said in the re mand report.
