Businessman stabs wife, flees

Hyderabad: A 36-year-old businessman, S Nagendar of Gudimalkapur, stabbed his wife, S Keerthi, 33, a housewife, at her house in Yellareddyguda due to personal problems. For past five months, Keerthi, along with her daughter, has been staying separately from her husband due to personal problems. During early hours of Wednesday, Nagendar tried to smother Keerthi with a pillow and stabbed her on the neck with a knife. The accused fled from the spot and police registered an attempt to murder case against him. TNN
