Burglary at Kushaiguda

HYDERABAD: Burglars gained entry into businessman K Prasad's house at Kushaiguda on Tuesday and escaped with Rs 50,000 worth jewellery.
According to police, Prasad along with his family members went out of station and returned to his residence in Vijaypuri Colony in Kushaiguda on Tuesday afternoon.
"According to the complainant , the maindoor lock was intact and burglars opened the iron safe with a key kept on the safe itself and escaped with four tolas of gold and other silver articles worth Rs 50,000," Kushaiguda inspector of police K Venkat Reddy said."Either the offenders are well known to the family members of Prasad or they must be real professionals . We are looking into these angles," Reddy said.
A case was registered under sections 457 (House breaking) and 380 (Theft) of the IPC.
