Hyderabad: Congress MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy on Wednesday alleged that IAS officers were intimidated during the previous BRS govt tenure to issue ‘dark' govt orders (GOs).
He claimed that this was done to keep land allotments and other irregularities hidden from the public, and that such GOs were never uploaded on the govt portal.
Addressing a media conference, Kiran Kumar said T Harish Rao of BRS and Bandi Sanjay of BJP should first explain to the people of Telangana why the promises made by their parties were not implemented so far before questioning the Congress govt on six guarantees.
The BRS came to power in 2014 by making numerous promises but did not implement even 30% of its promises, he said. "The BJP promised 2 crore jobs every year, to bring back black money, to deposit 15 lakh into bank accounts of the poor, but has not implemented them. In fact, the BJP and BRS are working together as part of a secret understanding in Telangana," claimed Kiran Kumar.
