CM driving T into turmoil, says BRS
Hyderabad: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has alleged that the Congress govt's 10-month tenure has plunged Telangana into a financial crisis. At a press conference at Telangana Bhavan, BRS spokesperson Anugula Rakesh Reddy stated that the real estate sector has collapsed, with many properties remaining unsold for the past 10 months. Rakesh Reddy highlighted that many outsourced employees in SC and ST hostels, junior colleges, and degree colleges have not been paid. With more than five dearness allowances pending and no progress on the pay revision commission, he warned that Telangana is heading toward economic disaster, potentially facing a financial emergency soon. He criticized chief minister A Revanth Reddy for lacking vision and accused him of driving the state into turmoil by blindly following orders."In his letter, CM Revanth Reddy admitted that only 18,000 crores were allocated for farmer loan waivers, whereas the BRS govt supported farmers even during the pandemic," Rakesh Reddy stated. He described the Musi beautification project as a money-making scam, asserting that what flows through the closed drainage system is not water, but the tears and blood of the people.
