HYDERABAD: Nimmagadda Prasad, the accused industrialist, and KV Brahmananda Reddy the accused bureaucrat in the Vanpic episode of the Jagan assets case, on Tuesday filed two separate petitions seeking bail.
"It has been more than a year since we were arrested and the CBI too has gone on record that its investigation into the case is over, hence, we are entitled to bail," they said in their pleas and urged the court to grant them bail.
The trial court sought the response of the probe agency on this and posted the case to September 26 for hearing.
