Boy's suicide: State human rights commision notice to collector

CHARMINAR: The

State Human Rights Commision

on Wednesday took cognisance of the suicide of a class IX student and issued notices to the Hyderabad district collector and district education officer even as it registered the case.

, committed suicide on January 4 after his parents could not pay the school fees on account of demonetisation. On Tuesday , the mother of the deceased student,

, had filed a petition with the SHRC and sought an inquiry into the death of her son and also against unrecognised schools in the area.
